About Us
The Flux3D story begins in suburban Sydney, back in 2008. Called Flux Electronics in those early years, the business concentrated on installing a range of audio-visual (AV) accessories to a wide range of vehicles.
As time progressed these accessories, including Bluetooth kits, parking sensors, light bars, reverse cameras, car alarms, and dash cams, became more commonplace as factory-fitted inclusions. This led to a rebranding in 2017 as Flux3D.
Starting with a range of products to relocate and better-integrate factory parking sensors and cameras, Flux3D expanded into developing a range of retrofit Blind Spot Monitoring (BLM, BLIS, CTA) technologies for light commercial vehicles. Due to the sensitivity of these sensors they can’t easily be relocated, and rely on integrating with factory driver assist and power steering systems.
Flux3D takes huge pride in being able to quickly design, prototype, and manufacture our parts in-house. Using cutting edge 3D-scanning technology means we can perfectly replicate the vehicles our kits are designed to fit, and ensure they seamlessly integrate with the factory systems.
Alongside 3D-scanning we also 3D-print many of our components, not just for rapid prototyping but to radically improve production timelines. We’ve used 3D-printing technology since 2013, and today offer a range of materials and printing methods in-house, including SLS (Selective Laser Sintering), SLA (Stereolithography) and FDM (Fused deposition modelling) to create fixtures with correct tolerances to suit these sensitive systems.
The use of cutting-edge technologies with our design skills and high-quality source materials means FLUX3D offers unparalleled technical support for businesses and individuals, and all at a competitive price. We are proud of our home-grown roots, our commitment to local design and manufacturing, and holding stock in our Sydney facility.
We look forward to assisting with your project, no matter how small or large.
